John Wayne Bobblehead Unpainted Test Piece - Rare

This John Wayne bobblehead is made from heavyweight polyresin and stands a full 9.5" tall. It includes remarkable detail, such as his signature belt buckle, bullet belt, and removable cowboy hat.
Product Description
Very rare early 2011 John Wayne bobblehead test pieces, from the early development and testing phase of version 1, which featured the removable hat. These are unpainted original polyresin models which were shipped unpainted from the factory in order to test our packaging design. There were only 20 pieces produced in this way. The company is keeping 1 and is offering the other 19 to collectors. These are very rare and have never been offered for sale before now. Once these 19 are gone there will never be any others.

The price for this particular version of the John Wayne bobble is a little more than the standard price, but due to the extremely limited number of unpainted/test bobbles that were made, the price is very well worth it. I like the fact that craftsmen at Royal Bobbles take pride in their work, which comes through in the lifelike attributes that are a part of every Royal bobblehead. And the unpainted John Wayne is no different. This bobble is a great addition to my 400+ collection of bobbles and should be a part of any serious collector.
