Product Description

Robert E. Lee was born into a wealthy Virginian family that was descended from English royalty. He was indirectly related to Sir Thomas More and King Robert II of Scotland through the Earls of Crawford. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1829 at the head of his class in artillery and tactics, and he began his military career in the Army Corps of Engineers. His distinguished career peaked during the Civil War when he was the commanding General of the Confederate Army. He fought with great integrity but had the sad and unfortunate duty to have to surrender the Confederate Army to General Ulysses S. Grant on April 9, 1865, at Appomattox Court House in Virginia, his home state.

Standing about 6” tall and looking dignified in his impeccable Confederate Army uniform, the Robert E. Lee bobblehead makes a great gift for your favorite confederates! His value as a collector’s item is increasing because only a limited number of these bobbleheads were made. They were made from Polyresin, a high quality, synthetic polymeric plastic material that can be intricately molded with consistent textures and is compatible with a wide variety of different paint and metallic finishes. Your Robert E. Lee bobblehead gift will be packed and shipped in a durable cardboard box with molded Styrofoam protection.
