Fallout Bobbleheads

Bobbleheads are an iconic collectible in the Fallout series, serving both as a fun in-game item and a symbol of Vault-Tec’s corporate propaganda.

Introduced in Fallout 3, these bobbleheads depict Vault Boy, the cheerful mascot of Vault-Tec, striking various poses that correspond to different player stats or skills. Collecting them grants boosts to attributes like Strength, Intelligence, or specialized abilities such as Lockpicking and Medicine. This mechanic encourages exploration, rewarding players for searching every corner of the wasteland.

Beyond their gameplay function, bobbleheads represent Vault-Tec’s marketing and branding in the Fallout universe. They reflect the company's unsettling mix of optimism and control, as Vault-Tec became known for its human experiments conducted within its vaults. The bobbleheads reinforce this dark satire—while they seem like harmless promotional toys, they are tied to a corporation that played a major role in the downfall of civilization.

In the Fallout TV show, bobbleheads have made their way into the live-action adaptation as well. The show shows that they are present within Vault 33, and their inclusion serves as a nod to longtime fans of the games. Now, you can have your own Vault 33 Fallout bobblehead, with your very own face!  Please choose the one that you prefer, and we will be happy to get you started with your own custom Fallout bobblehead!

  • Amazon Prime's "Fallout" TV series is set in the year 2296, placing it nine years after the events of "Fallout 4" and 15 years after "Fallout: New Vegas." The series introduces viewers to Lucy MacLean, a resident of Vault 33 in Los Angeles, who ventures into the post-apocalyptic wasteland to rescue her father, Hank. This narrative unfolds in a world where the descendants of Vault dwellers confront the harsh realities of a devastated surface.

The show's timeline and events are carefully integrated into the existing Fallout canon. Notably, the series depicts the destruction of Shady Sands, the capital of the New California Republic, a significant location in previous games. According to Bethesda's Todd Howard, the show's creators collaborated closely with the game developers to ensure consistency with the established lore, confirming that all events from the previous games, including "New Vegas," remain intact.

While the series introduces new characters and storylines, it remains faithful to the Fallout universe, incorporating familiar elements such as the Brotherhood of Steel and the retro-futuristic aesthetic. This approach allows the show to offer fresh narratives while respecting the rich history established by the games.
