A little known fact about Obi-Wan Kenobi is that Star Wars creator, George Lucas, was inspired to create him after seeing another movie character named General Makabe Rokuruta played by the famous actor Toshiro Mifune in a Japanese movie entitled “The Hidden Fortress” that was directed by the famous director Akira Kurosawa.
