John Joseph Gotti, Jr. was Mafia boss of the Gambino family crime syndicate in New York City during the 1970’s and 1980’s and at the height of his infamous career, he was receiving over $1,000,000 per month in tribute from more than 300 Mafia members. He was sentenced to life in prison where he died 10 years later.
