Gorton's Fisherman Bobblehead – Referee
The Gorton’s Fisherman is a mythical character that represents Gorton's, Inc. from Gloucester, Massachusetts, a company best known for its frozen fish meals. The Gorton’s Fisherman is intended to function as a company logo that identifies Gorton’s with the original American colonists and their ideals of freedom and hard work. This is the second Wobbler that Funko made for Gorton's and because it was originally used as part of a special mail-in offer during one football season, it still comes packaged in the original and unmarked gift boxes with printed material from Gorton’s.
The Gorton’s Fisherman-Referee is no longer in production and it is a true collector's item whose value is increasing. They were made out of lightweight polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, a thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used to make figurines because it can be molded into any shape and it is compatible with a wide variety of different paint finishes.
