Q: When will my retail (non-custom) order ship?
A: Non-custom bobbleheads orders ship within 48 hours of an order being placed. The exception are those orders placed on the weekends and/or holidays since warehouses are closed. Custom bobblehead orders depend on the fabrication processing time you select during the checkout process.
Q: How long does it take to process, ship and receive a custom bobblehead order?
This depends solely on the Sculpting Time in addition to the Shipping Method you select during checkout.

Q: What is the difference between a fully customized bobblehead and a standard body bobblehead?
A: Fully customized bobbleheads allow customers to customize anything and everything on the doll from head to toe, whereas a standard bodies allow you to customize the head and the change only colors of the clothing.
With a standard body,the body is a stock option and we cannot change the structure.
The same craftsmanship is used on both styles.
Q: What are your bobbleheads made of?
A: Great question! Our bobbleheads are made from a high quality, durable polyresin material. With its highly customizable characteristics, polyresin allows for the finished product to be highly detailed in all aspects of the design. Because of the increased time required for this process, many other companies use polymer clay instead. Clay is a cheaper and much more fragile substitute, and over time it will dry, crack, and break easily - while polyresin won't crack or dry out, and is much more durable. Polyresin is the material that quality commercial products are made from. It is the industry standard when it comes to producing bobblehead dolls. If you are going to spend the money to buy a custom bobblehead, why not get the best quality product possible?

Q: Do you allow refunds, or cancellations for retail (non-custom) bobbleheads?
A: For all Non-Custom Bobbleheads you may return your unused and unopened product for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date.
Products which are deemed defective or broken upon receipt will be exchanged or replaced at full value with no restocking fee. Photographs of the product and the packing box may be required. If the individual retail box has been opened but the bobblehead is otherwise in new condition then a restocking fee of 15% will apply.
If the box has been opened and the bobblehead is no longer in new and resaleable condition, or if the product is not properly packaged for shipping and is damaged in shipping then the return cannot be accepted.
Hand-crafted products are, by definition, individually hand-painted and small paint variations will naturally occur. Accordingly, minor paint variations are not considered defective and this is not sufficient grounds for return or exchange. Restocking fees will apply if products are returned for minor paint variations.
Refunds will be given in the same manner in which the item was purchased, less any restocking fee as required. Allow 7 to 14 days upon receiving the item to process your return. It may take up to 30 days after that to be visible on your next credit card statement. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is deemed defective or an error occurred when filling the order.
Q: Do you allow refunds, or cancellations for custom bobbleheads?
A: Due to the highly personalized nature of our custom-made bobblehead products, we are not able to offer refunds, cancellations, or exchanges. Each product takes an extraordinary amount of time by skilled craftsmen, and therefore all sales are final. However, our interactive proofing process gives you the ability to ensure that the sculpting and paint will be exactly what you are looking for, and with proofing you will be able to make changes until everything is just right.
Sculpting, especially when the subject is a human, is a very subjective process. It is an art, not a science. Since all the sculpting is done based on photographs (which may or may not be good likenesses of the subject), the quality of the photo provided is very important in achieving a strong likeness. But even with a good photo, because of the subjectivity involved with the art of sculpting, some people may see a strong resemblance to the person, and others may not. With a good photo however, we should be able to obtain a good likeness with our specially-trained artists.
Q: If there are no refunds, how do you ensure that I will love my bobblehead?
A: Our proofing process allows you to have full control over the sculpting and painting of your custom bobblehead. After each stage of the production process, you will be able to approve or deny the results. If you approve a stage, we will move forward with the production process. If you deny it, just tell us what to change and we will redo it until you are happy. This helps to guarantee your satisfaction since you'd be directly involved in every step of the production process!
Q: What is "Proofing"?
A: This is the interaction between the customer and the artist in which the customer must give the okay on the custom made bobblehead prior to shipping. This communication is done via email soon after the purchase of most bobbleheads (the exception being those where the customer selected 'Faster' or 'Fastest' for a sculpting option).
Q: When is there a proofing process?
A: Proofing is available to you at no charge on all standard body bobbleheads and fully customizable bobbleheads with 'Standard' Sculpting and 'Fast' Sculpting options. Proofing is not available on our 'Faster' Sculpting and 'Fastest' Sculpting options because of the time the proofing process adds to the production schedule. Please keep in mind that the ship date of your doll is directly affected by the amount of changes required on your bobblehead.

Q: Are your bobbleheads made-in-the-USA?
A: Well, we have undertaken projects where we have made bobbleheads for very select customers which were completely made-in-the-USA, but unfortunately, for the vast majority of consumers it is not possible for any company to produce custom bobbleheads entirely in the USA - at an affordable price. These custom products require many, many hours of hand-sculpting, hand-casting, and hand-painting, and American labor costs are just too great for it to be affordable for most consumers.
But, we have tried! In fact, we tried so hard that the television celebrity Mike Rowe, of "Dirty Jobs" fame, filmed us and broadcast an entire segment on his show "Somebody's Gotta Do It" on CNN on this subject: "Why it is so hard to make a bobblehead in the USA?". Please see these links for examples: (1), (2), and (3).
Here is the problem, for most people. A completely made-in-the-USA custom bobblehead would cost between $2,000 and $4,000 to produce and deliver. And we just don't think that that makes financial sense for most people.
But please understand that your order DOES support American jobs and labor. We have a full customer service team here in Georgia who stands ready to take your phone calls or emails, and assist in any way possible. They are just a phone call or email away, and will be happy to intervene anytime there is a problem or concern or question – and will be happy to help our overseas artists if they don’t understand something. We also have artists and sculptors here in Georgia that can consult on calls, and help whenever there is a question or problem. We often bring things here for final touches if there is something that we just can’t get right via the normal channels. Nobody else does that! (Seriously, nobody).
One thing to remember is that even if a portion of the process occurs overseas, many American jobs ARE created by these orders. We pay Google and Facebook for ads to let you know that we offer this service, and that creates jobs there. The orders are taken here, using American credit card companies, using software created by American companies and American phone and internet providers, in an office building in Georgia where we pay rent to an American building owner and we (and our employees) pay state and US taxes. We have created an entire customer service and support team right here in Georgia, who is standing by to help you at every step of the process, and oversee the handling of any problems that you might have. And then at the end, we apply made-in-the-USA holograms to the base, and our shipping is handled by FedEx, an American company. And then when you receive it, if there is any problem, our Georgia staff stand ready to help you again to resolve any issues. And our American artists can help to tweak things if needed. And we do support a number of other national and local nonprofit causes and charities, including ones that support our military members.

Q: Can I order duplicates of my custom bobblehead?
A: Absolutely! In fact, we give discounted rates for dolls ordered in any quantity over 1. How sweet is that?! For example, the base price of a fully customized single doll is $144.95, 1-10 duplicates would be only $49.95 each, 11-24 duplicates are only $44.95 each, and 25-49 are only $39.95 each. Thats as much as 75% off the original doll! At these prices, make sure to get one for everyone!

Q: How are you able to offer duplicates at such low prices?
A: During the sculpting process of your original doll, every detail is sculpted by hand. This is a very time-consuming process. Once you have approved this doll, we are able to make a mold of it which allows us to quickly and accurately create duplicates. We pass this savings on to you in order to allow you to get multiple dolls for everyone who thinks your bobblehead is as cool as you do. But remember, we destroy the molds after the original ships...so make sure to order your duplicates BEFORE the molding & casting stage of your order.
