Star Trek

The Star Trek series created by Gene Roddenberry in the 1960s has become a pop culture phenomenon - spawning eleven feature films, an animated series, both a  prequel and a sequel television series, dozens of computer and video games, comic books, hundreds of novels, and even an attraction in Las Vegas.

The newest film, "Star Trek", released in May 2009, is an amazing blockbuster prequel to the original series, directed by J.J. Abrams (of  "Lost" fame) and will no doubt bring a new generation of fans into the fold.

Captain Kirk Bobblehead - Star Trek

This is a great talking bobblehead of Captain James T. Kirk, who was born in Iowa, on planet Earth. The youngest officer to achieve the rank of Captain, Kirk has achieved notoriety for his cunning and resourcefulness. Kirk has earned the admiration and respect of his peers, his crew, and even his enemies. He is one of Starfleet's most highly decorated officers. When his head bobbles, Kirk says:

  • "Space: the final frontier"
  • "I am a soldier, not a diplomat"
  • "This is Captain James Kirk of the USS Enterprise"

Spock Bobblehead - Star Trek

This is a great bobblehead of Mr. Spock, the first Vulcan to attend Starfleet Academy. Spock is regarded as the finest first officer in the fleet. His father is a Vulcan ambassador, his mother a school teacher from Earth. Spock's Vulcan nature is constantly at war with his human side. Because he was never able to fit in on either Vulcan or Earth, Spock considers Starfleet his true home. When his head bobbles, Spock says:

  • "Fascinating"
  • "You are, after all, essentially irrational"
  • "Live long and prosper"
